Gregorian Calendar in Error

In looking at the calendar widget to the right, I have found an error, which I am currently coding a revision to fix. In looking through the remainder of the month, I noticed that there is an extra day between Wednesday and Friday. This day, called Thursday, serves no known purpose, except to annoy people with desk jobs. I am therefore removing it from the calendar. All employees are notified that we will proceed directly from Wednesday to Friday, effective immediately. Therefore today’s date is now Friday, October 1st.
