Notice something here? Yeah, all obligation buys. The meltdown of half the R1 importing industry has delayed the inevitable, but now my anime budget will have to satisfy my sense of propriety. Oh, there’s a few that won’t appear in the purchase list, even though I watched much of them:
Busou Renkin, since it jumped the shark
Karin, for being an angstfest
Coyote Ragtime, for tanking unforgivably after the first episode
And others that got passed for now:
Gurren Lagann, waiting on more to come out, possibly the bilingual version, not decided..
Ouran Host Club, ditto.
Sigh, I’ve been wondering what the Fall season holds (not Haruhi Suzamiya, obviously), but at this rate, I probably won’t watch much anyway.

Well, Magical Witch Punie-chan is coming in about a month, and that one should be well worth getting, not to mention reasonably priced.
The picture is a little too passionate to describe my own recent anime-watches. I’ve seen very little lately that hasn’t bored me to tears. I suspect I may be moving on out of the anime realm within the next couple of months or so, once I’ve exhausted my build-up.
Well, it wasn’t necessarily “perfect” as in it expressed my feelings. It was “perfect” in that it sent me into conniption fits trying not to laugh so loud as to wake everyone in the house. Then I looked at it at work again today, and noticed Riker in the background, also trying to keep a straight face, and the event repeated itself.
I wasn’t planning to put an order in next month, but with Punie-chan and forgetting about Kanon #6, I’ll probably have to. Still not sure about the next Black Lagoon, after the brutal ass-kicking that was Second Barrage’s vol. 1.
Oh, it’s a classic pic, classic. And now that I look again…what the heck kind of uniform is Riker wearing? Wait wait let’s not get into pulled into a Star Trek trivia black hole…
