Over at Steven’s:
20070320.1915: How neat is this? Michael Dorn owns a flyable F-86 Sabre, one of the coolest of the early combat fighter jets.
First thing that occurs to me: “Today IS a good day to fly!”
You’d think I could come up with something, you know, original. Admit it, how many of you heard Worf saying that upon reading the teaser?
The “die” phrase always struck me–especially the way Worf would read it out–as something one might find in a Klingon astrology column.
I bet that’d be an easy column to write–just 365 “Today is a good day to die!”s, then you can spend the rest of the day surfing the web. And if the boss caught you, well, maybe it’s a good day to die after all.
Y’know, Ubu… if I was anywhere near Texas right now, I’d figure out where you live, fly over there, and poop on your windshield for that joke.
No need. There’s a bird that took care of it for you.
Edit: there’s an opening for a line here about “birds of a feather,” but I have my standards!
