Forgive me, but I just figured out why Kamen no Maid Guy is so damn funny. I mean, come on: “Maid Guy.” I should have seen it a mile off.
KnMG isn’t a comedy in the combat maid/butler genre; it’s a parody of the whole concept. So far, we’ve got a maid guy, a combat maid who doubles as the maid guy trainer, and two ninja maids, one of whom is the elder twin sister of the first.
No, that wasn’t a mistake. “Just how old do you think your twin sister is??”
Parody, and I didn’t even realize it. Just FYI, in the post I keep tinkering with and never finishing, I compare the four fanservice shows this spring, and KnMG is the clear winner.
