Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari

As I said a while ago, I got confused about what happened to Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari, so I have spent the last two days downloading and catching up with it. Part of the reason I assumed it was an irregular OVA is that the episodes are 45 minutes long, which is just a bit weird. And in fact, it is an OVA, it’s just that the fansubbers are irregular.

So, on to the show. Neither the OP nor ED are anything to write home about, being merely serviceable. That is, fan-serviceable! NSFW

Oops!

A little while ago, I was moving my animé files to the new 1.5TB drive when I realized that this show title I’d been wondering about was one I’d downloaded 1 episode of already. So I fired up Zoom Player and watched the first few moments of it — only to realize why I’d forgotten it. Turns out it was Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari, the alternate world story with Tenchi’s brother. I’d planned to keep following it (even though it’s mediocre), but after I went several weeks without seeing episode 2, I decided it must have been an OVA.

Turns out it just wasn’t being subbed regularly by any group. There’s something like 4 groups that have turned out varying episodes up through #7. And of course, now that it’s weeks after the others came out, they’re next to impossible to torrent — in fact, I can’t find a working torrent of ep. 3 at all. (Nyatorrents HQ version claims to be good, but nothing shows up for a swarm).

Ah well. I’ll just have to make do. Better yet, maybe I should go download more Student Council. For such a show about nothing, it’s the only one that reliably makes me laugh.

Update: ep. 3 finally connected and is downloading.

UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie

Ok, this show has convinced me that I need to go back to the doctor. I’ve never seen so many nicely shaped, thoroughly uncovered breasts in my life — and not cared.

I mean, really, what’s wrong with me? Do I need to start taking the v-i-a-g-r-a spam seriously?

I downloaded and watched season 1 and the first episode of season 2, plus the S1 special last night. And you know? I just don’t care to keep watching it, even though S2 is where it’s supposed to get good. It actually feels wrong, after the cute/happy/fluffy feel of the first series.

Well, except I didn’t think it was happy or fluffy. So what are my problems with this show?

I Want One!

This post has been sitting around a while, probably because posting it would have been a bit of “me-too-ism” from wherever I got it. Either Chizumatic or the Pond, most likely. Brickmuppet’s? Enh, dunno. But anyway….

Automated paintball gun in a briefcase — it was a testbed development project by a hobbyist in Jacksonville, FL. Now he’s got them ready for market!

Remove the electronics and sensor suite, then hook it up to my Imperial Armada-surplus turbo-laser turrets, and my secret lair has a new defense system. Muahahahahahah!
